Experience Nature Simply

In 2002, we set out to create an experience far from the stress of city life and the fleeting allure of destination vacations.

Quite by happenstance, or maybe guided by fate, we discovered the scenic Avalon valley and the hillside paradise that we named Fieldstone Farms.

The name? Yes, Fieldstone Farms is a nod to the dueling forces which coexist in the landscape. Field refers to the verdant pastures that support diverse wildlife. Stone refers to the pink granite outcroppings formed by volcanic activity when the St. Francois Mountains were created over a billion years ago.

And there’s more, much more. Forests of oak, hickory, birch, locust, walnut, pawpaw, sumac and cedar interlaced with hiking trails. Spend time at our tranquil ponds or hike to enjoy the majestic views. Come and explore all nature intended for us to love.

Over time, nature taught us how to live in harmony with it. We are here for but a moment. Nature has existed far longer than we have and will endure long after we pass. Our calling is to preserve the sanctity of this gift.

We Love Nature

And it loves us when we act in harmony. When we recognize that nature moves at a pace all its own. Unhurried, ever adapting to the forces of wind, rain, snow and ice. It peacefully endures both the winter freezes and the blazing heat of summer.

It Is a Gift

None of us can create nature from man-made materials. Yet we have a choice whether we destroy it or preserve it, not just for us, but for the future. .

Living in the moment, with gratitude for this priceless gift of nature.
